This set is a fully working 2 lane AURORA 100% SPECIALTY TRACK Layout! Measuring exactly 6×4 feet and including some hard-to-find tracks when you add up what just the track would cost for this course it’s like getting the 3 t-jets & 1 Lionel cars for FREE! This is a great set for a single person to enjoy as the other cars speed can be set by the steering wheel control to race against or just sit back and watch them run!! At this cost it’s like getting the cars, controllers transformer, pins and joiners and all the rest for free! One picture shows my own math [I do to figure the sets’ value] ordinarily I wouldn’t show. A couple of cobblestone tracks are held firmly together on the underside after an electrical repair to make for a positive electrical connection on the underside and they work fine. The turn-off tracks are NOS right from the box and the crossroad is really nice. I used all the cobblestone tracks I had! They are allot harder to collect than you might think and it took years of one or two in each “lot” I have come across to collect this many there are 12 cobblestone tracks in this layout! This will come to you so you can put it together and have a complete & working with 4 strong running cars! 4X6 foot layout that will certainly give hours of fun!! It’s fun just to set their speed and watch them! To make the assembly go easy this will come in a big box in sections that are numbered! Just follow the numbers and it’ll be together in no time {see pictures}. Comes wired already just extend or improve as desired what’s here. The controllers are original Aurora AFX pistol type [for use when racing] and original [as used on the earlier Thunderjet sets] Aurora steering wheel type [with forward and reverse] so the cars can be set to run on their own for sitting back and watching or race against a pre-set car and see how many laps it takes to pass it! I have tried to make a total experience [for me it’s a “Blast from the past”] with all the excitement right away with the 4 cars that’s ready to enjoy! [Check my other auctions too]. NOTE: To use the pistol grip controllers, you turn the steering wheel speed up full [or less to govern power for a novice maybe] and they are ready to work. To use only the steering wheel controllers, use rubber bands [or twist ties] to hold the triggers on the pistol grips at full power. You provide the platform and I’m providing everything you need to set up a HO scale Aurora Thunderjet racing layout! All you got to do is assemble and you’re right into the fun.
