It does work and we had no issue accept that one car that is broken. It has the loop, automatic counter, etc. What you see in the photos is what you will be receiving. Up for sale is a AFX Tomy “Giant Raceway” slot car track set #9868. It is complete with all pieces. It has been played with but I do not see any broken pieces on the track. I plugged a small loop of track in and it worked fine except for one of the hand-held controllers that did not seem to be working. The set originally came with 2 Indy slot cars but there are 3 cars total included. The Indy car does have a broken fin on the back but ran around the track fine. The red one works great. The yellow car works but just kind of spins in place so may need a tune up. The cardboard “seating” is a little misshapen. Included is everything shown, including original instructions.
