Here is a great and pretty RARE find! This is a 1969 Carrera Florio 1:24 scale slot car set made in Germany. This set appears to be complete as far as I can tell, missing the instructions, but does include a 1968-69 Carrera Catalog. The cars are a Carrera 6 and a Ferrari Dino. Both cars are exceptional clean and all parts are perfectly in tact. The brushes on both cars show some use wear and the edges of the some of the decals on both cars have some slight aging and discoloration. The Carrera 6 body has a very tiny crack on the rear bumper and a couple very small nicks in the wheel well. The motor runs very well. I tested and oiled it and it also runs very nicely. Looks like the rear view mirrors are missing, but may be easily replaced with OEM or aftermarket. The white color is nice. The Ferrari Dino body looks very clean and neat. Everything looks intact and the red color is bright. The motor also runs very nicely and I also tested and oiled it as well. Both controllers are in excellent minty condition and the wire is still soft and. Are exceptionally clean and in nice condition. Look only slightly used from light use. The set itself is in above average clean condition and nothing is broken! 2 cars, 2 controllers, banked corner pillars, the original screwdriver, a full bag of red track connector clips that looks unopened and a roll of what I think is. Guard railing for cut to fit. The track is all there. According to the “piece count” photo on the side of the box. > 1 Powered Straight Track. > 11 Regular Straight Track. > 6 Banked Curve Track. > 5 Regular Curved Track. There is also some additional. That must have been added to the set. One box of 3. Of curved track apron and one box of 4 straight pieces of apron. These look like they go on the outside edge of the track, wherever you want, to act as a pit area or breakdown area. When I got the set years ago, the box lid was in very rough shape with a number of areas completely missing. For being very fragile and are usually in poor condition. I have done a very heavy reconstruction of the lid as best I could. It is at least functional and has some display potential now. I placed no value on the lid in considering the price. Base is in actually pretty good condition with only a couple small areas broken on the ends, but it presents well with everything in its place.
