For Sale: 1975 AFX Aurora Twister Race Set 2265-770 Magna Traction Slot Cars Jackie Stewart. Includes Chevy Nomad Wagon, AMC Javelin, 2 controllers, power supply, 2 trestles, 6 guard rails, 8 billboard retaining walls, instructions (1975), racing game rules (1974), 5 extra corners, 2 extra 16″ straights, 2 extra 9″ straights, pit area, and the original box. The power adapter is working. I do not know if the cars are working but they are complete. Some of the guard rails are missing clips. One lap counter needs a nut and bolt to fully assemble. Some of the tabs on the track pieces have broken off. I didn’t assemble the track because I didn’t want to damage anything so it is untested. Please view images for the most accurate representation of physical condition. I have no say in the cost. Vintage Aurora AFX Slot Car Track SEARS Penske Special Raceway MAGNA Traction. This is one of the special SEARS RACEWAY sets made by AFX Aurora in the mid 1960’s through the late 1970’s. Not sure of the date on this one as have seen several various dates given. I think the Magna-Traction cars put it in the early 70s. This comes in original box and should have all track which i will outline below. Russkit pistol controllers which have attached directions on hook-up to track. The grandstand is not there but think everything else is except maybe 1 plastic guardrail. 2 Magna-Traction cars included but they did not come with the set. One is a 1971 Camaro and the other is a 1971 Javelin. Both show little signs of wear but I found that a sliver of the Javelin has been superglued. Cannot see it in pictures and barely in person but I had to use magnifying glass to check on model. I put new tires on the cars when I bought it 3 years ago and they have not been used. Here are the pieces. 9 15 straight track pieces. 6 9 straight track. 13 12.5 curved track. 2 11 curved track. 2 9 curved track. 2 6.5 curved and banked track. 4 pieces of plastic guard rail with 2 track advertising inserts. 5 elevating pylons for raising track. 1 plug in current transformer. I was going to give this to my grandson, but my daughter prefers something newer. She doesnt appreciate the vintage stuff from my childhood. Read my feedback about honest description. If I do not sell set in one week, I will remove the camaro and sell separately.
